The case for Yes
It comes down to one thing: a say over our own town.
Right now the big decisions about Niwot — our roads, our land, our wages — get made twenty miles away, where we’re 1.3% of the vote. Incorporation brings them home.
Here’s where that shows up in real life:
Start with what you feel every day
Roads → Our streets are failing and the county has no plan. A town fixes its own — and it’s cheaper than a roads-only special district.
Renewal, not development → Change is already coming. Incorporation decides who shapes it — your neighbors, or the county.
Minimum wage → We won a temporary pause, not the fight. A town can set its own wage and secure the win.
What it costs → About $40 a month for a typical home. Run your own number.
Make it count
